Ana Lucia de Almeida Soutto Mayor holds a Bachelor's and a Degree in Letters, with a degree in Portuguese and Literature from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1984), a degree in English from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1985), a Master's in Letters (Letters Vernaculars) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1990) and a Doctorate in Letters from the Fluminense Federal University (2006), in which he defended a thesis about the relations between literary poetic narratives and their transpositions to cinematographic language, taking as a scope of analysis Brazilian cinema. She was a professor at the State Magisterium of Rio de Janeiro, between 1985 and 1993, having worked at the Colégio Estadual Dídia Machado Fortes (1985/1988), at Colégio Estadual Antônio Prado Júnior (1988/1993) and at Colégio Estadual Ernesto Farias (1988/89). Professor of the College of Application of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, from 1989, he taught Portuguese Language and Literature and the initial training of undergraduates of Letters, from the same University, having retired in 2014, reaching Full Professor of the Language Sector. Portuguese from CAp/UFRJ. Since 2015, she has been working as a public health researcher at the Laboratory of Scientific Initiation in Basic Education (LIC-PROVOC), at the Joaquim Venâncio Polytechnic School of Health (EPSJV), at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ). Since 2017, he has worked at this institution as a permanent professor of the Professional Master's Degree in Professional Education in Health and also, since 2016, as a permanent professor of the Lato Sensu Postgraduate Program, in the Science, Art and Culture in Health Course, at the Oswaldo Institute. Cross (IOC).Since August 2019, he has coordinated the Laboratory of Scientific Initiation in Basic Education (Lic-Provoc) and has been a member, since 2017, of the research group ?Compared Studies in Scientific Education?, registered in the Directory of Research Groups of CNPq and also , since 2009, of the research group ?Curriculum and Cinematographic Language?, coordinated by Prof. Adriana Fresquet, also registered in the Directory of Research Groups of CNPq. Member of the Brazilian Society of Cinema and Audiovisual (SOCINE) and of the Brazilian Society of the History of Science (SBHC). He has extensive experience in the field of Literature, working mainly on the following subjects: Brazilian literature, Brazilian cinema, poetic narrative, in its interface with philosophy and education, dedicating himself, in recent years, also to research on the relationship between art and science. and, more specifically, on these relationships in formative processes in High School and in other levels and modalities of teaching.
